You know, for over a quarter century I hated the holidays. Especially Easter! April 14th, Good Friday 1995. I was 14. You were 47. That was the day He took you from us! From that day forward I cursed Him and everyone that tried to love me. FTW and everyone in it! Bullied most my life I graduated high school and drifted towards a dark path becoming the bully in a lot of ways. 31 years that’s what it’s been. Some days it feels like yesterday. Other days it feels like I can’t remember you. Everything I do with LVS Paints & Construction I do for you Pop! It’s my way of connecting with you from the grave. My way of keeping you alive. I wish more than anything that you were here with us watching your grandchildren grow up but you’re not. For the first time in my life I’m ok. I’m not bitter anymore. I don’t hate the world. I’ve not forgotten but I’ve forgiven! I enjoy the holidays today and I no longer mourn your death. We celebrate your life by living and pushing forward in your memory. I love you Dad and I feel your presence each and every day pushing me to keep growing spiritually, mentally, and emotionally both in life and business. Continue to watch over our family! FIVE years ago today I shared my first post announcing , and the reasons I had for starting it. Words cannot convey the extent of my gratitude for everyone who has joined the LVS family (my teams and my customers!) and for the success and growth we've experienced. We've gone through a lot of growing pains, but have never lost sight of our original goal. And without you all, we wouldn't be here. Thank you!

11/26/2020: With over fifteen years of experience I’ve finally decided to take the leap and reopen my father’s business. LVS stood for Lou Venturini Services. His name was Louis James Venturini, Jr. and went by Jim. My father was a brilliant and hard working man. He had so much potential, but was taken from us in 1995 at 47 years old due to skin cancer. His grandson, my son Lincoln, bears his initials - LJV. So bringing LVS back to fruition holds quite a bit of sentiment to me. My vision for this business is to take his brand to a-whole-nother level that Dad could only have dreamed of! I put my personal touch and passion into each and every one of my jobs, making sure each and all of my clients get the quality and attention to detail they deserve.
