Huge shout out to Bedford Office Supply for reaching out for a hand with a batch of safes! I had the pleasure of converting all the safes from electronic to mechanical safe locks. I personally prefer mechanical safe locks over electronic as well. I have a lot more tricks up my sleeve for mechanical safe locks. Electronics make my drill trigger finger itchy! I was happy and grateful for the work as always!

A call for all keys lost to a car came in yesterday. I was able to respond rapidly and effectively. I was out in no time at all, and had keys in hand made from scratch. No codes, no disassembly necessary in this case. Just good old locksmith magic at work 🪄 🔑 🪄

Had an attempted break in, a while back, on a customer’s safe. Luckily the assailant didn’t get too far, but rendered the safe inoperable. I managed to get it open with no problems. Glad I could help the customer get to much needed medication! Police throughly investigated the scene… I hope they’re successful in finding who’s responsible!

Thank you Walmart Distribution Center in Seymour for having me rekey all your newly renovated areas. It was a battle for sure, and I managed to get it alllll done in one day! Another company started the project and were asked not to return 🤷‍♂️. I had to decode the master key in order to redo and complete the project. High security with a twist at high volume! What a great time with great people!
PS: the cylinders pictured were only one batch 😱

Now you see me… now you don’t…. I had to originate a new master key for a 2008 Chevy Avalanche today. Notice the car with the little lock symbol disappearing after the key was successfully added to the immobilizer system! If you have any key/ fob troubles for your vehicle give me a call! I’ll see what I can do!

Just a reminder, I do commercial work as well! My customer had an issue with not being able to lock the door on their establishment. There was an additional vertical rod inside the door that had fallen out of place. Threw me through a loop at first do to it being concealed within the door, but I got it taken care of!

Took on a peculiar task the other day. Key wouldn’t turn in a Honda Ridgeline… a typical problem on a Honda vehicles. After removing the lock cylinder and making repairs, the key would not turn after the cylinder was reinserted back into the housing. A deeper problem was present 😱. I don’t usually take on mechanics work, but I had fun putting a whole new ignition assembly on. Note: I did not scar the key with vice grips. Those were present upon my arrival. If you need any help, give me a call! I can cut and program most transponder keys and proximity remotes.

Sad to see this. I always saw him buzzing around in his Bently. Always visiting his favorite place for lunch (Mother Bears Pizza). I waited years to conduct some services for him just so I could use his catch phrase once I was finished. “It’s just that easy!”I did some work for him one day, I decided not to say it, but really wished I had now. Rest easy Ken 😢

Ken Nunn dies; family confirms

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — December 24, 2025

Attorney Ken Nunn, founder of the Ken Nunn Law Office and one of Indiana’s most recognizable personal-injury lawyers, died on Wednesday, Dec. 24, according to his family.

Vicky Nunn Jarrett, Nunn’s daughter, confirmed the death to The Bloomingtonian at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday, writing: “Our father Ken Nunn passed this morning.”
