Home owner was done wrong by someone who installed fiber board risers and incorrect stringers. Customer needed a budget friendly solution. So rather than ripping everything out I reinforced the steps with the understanding that the stringers and framing was incorrectly done at first. Replaced risers with vinyl so they won't crack again.
