Not the usual post for our page, but we have been a little busy and hopeful our network might know someone to help take the stress off our principal owner and his family as they search for a new caregiver!

Fun Loving Elmwood Park Family seeking energetic full-time Summer OR Longterm Nanny!

Our search for a fulltime nanny for our disabled 11yr old is proving a challenge with shortages in child care and sitters open to working with a unique kiddo. We are now hoping to find a summer sitter starting in early May. If we find someone longterm full time even better!

Start Date - ASAP or early May
The hours
✅Mon & Fri 9am -3:30pm
✅Tues/Weds/Thurs 9am-4pm
✅$18-20 pr hr dependent upon experience

The role- our sweet non verbal little lady will need someone to help with the morning wake up routine which includes bathing. She has a G-tube which means connecting her feeds and hitting go on her pump. No snacks or lunches to make or clean up!

Your role is essentially keeping her company, helping with ESY therapy/summer school and going on walks, taking her to “swimming” at RFTC, baking and listening to music when the weather is nice.

✅Light housework = vacuuming for school prep and child's laundry.
✅Safely lift and transition 40lbs while going up and down stairs.
✅COVID & TDAP Vaccinated+ boosted- verified proof required as she is high risk.
✅Must have a clean driving record + Reliable Transportation.
✅CPR certified or willing to become certified
✅Smoke Free/Drug Free.
✅Spotless criminal record are A MUST.
✅2-3 References verified employer.

This position offers a lot of down time for studying A medical background is NOT required, lord knows we do not have one nor have our past nanny/caregivers. Could be great for a nursing/Special Ed or PT/OT major or retiree.

We realized last night it has been nearly a year since posting on our page. The simple answer; we are so busy that posting job updates, tips and timing have been happening on our Instagram.

We are humbled and grateful to our customers who have kept our team busy as can be throughout these unprecedented times. As a result we are currently booking remodeling projects in late November and beyond. We MAY be able to accept some painting projects in September and October on a limited basis. PM if you have questions.

Deemed as essential workers in order to keep our clients homes in top shape we have been grateful to continue doing what we love best. Making your home remodel, custom project and paint work come to life. With our principal owners wife and youngest daughter being deemed high risk in the midst of a global health crisis we have worked alongside of their medical teams to derive and execute the highest level safety precautions. Our goal; Keep customers, vendor/design partners, our employees and their families as safe as possible from exposure to or contracting Covid-19.

As hybrid school, full time in person or remote learning community pods begin to take place we will be updating our safety procedures to protect our families and yours. Details regarding changes to our current client covid-19 safety procedures are forthcoming. All current and future projects on our books will be updated accordingly.

We look forward to continued health and success throughout the remainder of 2020 and a much better 2021!

One of the best most asked question we have been asked since the quarantine began “Are you still working?”, the answer is yes. Not only are we working but we are taking significant precautions for our team and your family to keep everyone safe. With a principal owner whom has two high risk loved ones at home our trust and yours to have a safe and positive renovation is key. Our goal is to keep everyone safe, projects moving and our teams working!

While it’s rare we post personal things on our page this weekend our family wanted to share one of our friend and partners efforts to help a local organization close to our hearts and community.

We had Such a fun weekend learning to make and bake sourdough bread with new friends and old. Thank you Pickle Hill Parties hosting such an awesome fundraiser Beyond Hunger. Do good, learn a new skill, have fun with friends and eat ridiculously GOOD bread!

For a donation of $25 or more made directly to Beyond Hunger in Oak Park master sourdough baker Gigi will coach you through the entire process from raising starter through the final rise, shape, bake and eating your first delicious slice of homemade bread. A fabulous deluxe package can be yours with doorstep drop off for proof of a new donation to Beyond Hunger of $50 or more. (OPRFEPFP area local delivery only, but you can pick it up in oak park if you like)

The year ended with a bang New Years Eve when our founder and his wife renewed their vows. We celebrated as a team and welcomed the new year finishing some of our favorite remodels of the decade.
