Memorial Day is not just a random day off from the work week. Or the official “kick off” to summer. Today is a day to remember those who gave their all for our freedom. Who laid their lives down for others. May we not forget.

Our crew at His Hands Construction & Roofing would like to pause and honor all the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom.

Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to live, work, raise our families, and pursue the opportunities we have every day. We are forever grateful to those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for this country. 🇺🇸

I had so much fun seeing all of the creativity, colors, and hard work everyone put into their entries. You all made choosing winners incredibly exciting!

🚨 REMINDER: TOMORROW at 8 PM is the FINAL deadline to enter the Winston Coloring Contest! Don’t wait until the last minute to send in your masterpiece!

Today we had a grill out at Pohaki Lumber to show our appreciation for everything they do for us and our customers! We are grateful to work with a company that consistently provides top-quality products along with outstanding customer service.

Kevin fired up the grill and cooked the team steaks from one of our favorite local meat shops, F & D Meats!

A big thank you to the team at Pohaki Lumber for all you do. Now the guys are headed back to the jobsite to finish up the week strong on a roof! 🔨🏠

And a shoutout to F & D Meats for always providing us with high quality meat! 🥩

We had THREE new coloring contest entries come in today! 🎨🐶 These kids are seriously bringing the creativity and making my job very difficult… I may need extra treats to judge all this talent. 👷‍♂️🦴

🐾 Foreman Winston here with a paws-itively awesome update! 🐾

Happy update, everyone! I spent last evening going through yesterday’s coloring contest submissions, and WOW… you all seriously impressed me 🐶🎨

All submissions from yesterday were from Tower, MN! Way to go guys!!!

The creativity, the colors, the effort.. my tail hasn’t stopped wagging! I made sure to do a full inspection (with a few sniff tests, of course 🐾), and every single entry passed with flying colors. You kids are making this a very tough job for me… and I take my job VERY seriously.

Keep those entries coming—we’re getting closer to the final stretch, and I can’t wait to see what else you’ve got! Last day is SUNDAY!

📣 Reminder: The contest is wrapping up soon, so make sure to get your submissions in before the deadline!

Now if you’ll excuse me… I’ve got more work to do (and maybe a quick nap on the job 💤🐶).
