This mountain retreat started as a new build with a clean, neutral palette—and a lot of potential.

Inspired by the Scottish Highlands, classic Americana, and fashion details from designer Paul Smith, we developed a design that felt cozy, collected, and distinctly mountain modern.

To help our client visualize the space before furnishings ever arrived, we created a detailed room mockup showing the layout, colors, and overall design direction.

What made it into the final design? Just about everything.

We introduced deeper, more saturated paint colors to warm up the larger spaces, layered in masculine patterns for character, and finished the room with plush seating, rich textures, and plenty of cozy touches.

The result is a welcoming retreat that's equally suited for family getaways and Airbnb guests.

From blank canvas to lived-in luxury.

When this family of four moved into their new build, they had a beautiful foundation to work with—but they needed help turning it into a space that felt warm, elevated, and uniquely theirs.

As a busy family balancing work, school, activities, and everything in between, they wanted a partner who could handle the details. Through our full-service furnishings process, we managed everything from space planning and furniture selections to installation and final styling.

Our goal was to bring the comfort and sophistication of a luxury hotel into a home designed for real life. Layered neutrals, clean modern lines, and thoughtfully selected furnishings create a space that feels polished without sacrificing everyday functionality.

Now they have a living room that's equally suited for family movie nights, entertaining friends, and everything in between.

Every golfer needs a place to wind down after a round. ⛳️🍻

When our clients came to us for a basement remodel, they envisioned a space built for entertaining. The existing bar, tucked away in the corner, felt cramped, dated, and wasn't making the most of the room.

By removing the curved bar, improving the layout, and introducing warm materials like a butcher block countertop and leather swivel stools, we transformed the space into a welcoming gathering spot.

Inspired by our clients' love of golf and their country club community, we christened the new bar The 19th Hole—the perfect place to relive the best shots of the day (and conveniently forget the others).

This new build had great bones, but like many builder-grade homes, it felt a little flat when our clients first moved in.

They loved the openness of the layout, but the home was missing the warmth and depth they wanted for their growing family — something that felt calm, elevated, and comfortable enough for everyday life.

In the living room, our focus was comfort and functionality. This is where their family will gather daily, so we layered in subtle color, texture, and furnishings that make the space feel inviting without sacrificing the neutral palette they were drawn to.

We also used larger-scale artwork to help ground an awkward window condition and create a stronger focal point, rather than filling the room with smaller pieces competing for attention.

Now it feels less like a builder-grade blank slate and more like a home designed around the people living in it.

How do we divide a basement without making it feel cramped?

That was the challenge we kept coming back to during this remodel.

The basement needed to do a lot — entertaining space, game room, and bar area all within one footprint. A completely open layout would’ve felt undefined, but adding traditional walls would have closed everything off.

So instead, we worked with what was already there.

Taking inspiration from our clients’ time living in New York City, we designed a custom metal screen wall built around the existing structural columns, with the pattern inspired by the NYC subway map.

The linework creates separation without blocking light or sightlines, helping the basement feel connected while still giving each area its own identity.

It’s one of our favorite kinds of design moments — functional, personal, and tied directly to our clients’ story.

And yes, it’s fully anchored and kid-approved for climbing. 🧗

We believe your home should feel like an extension of you, not just another design.

Sometimes that shows up in obvious ways, and sometimes it’s woven into quieter details that hold meaning for the people living there.

This nursery has a few of those subtle moments layered throughout the design. The wallpaper and framed antique sketches quietly reference the story behind our clients’ daughter’s name, creating a space that feels personal in a way that goes beyond aesthetics.

This is one of those moments that sneaks up on your during a new build.

The porch goes in, and suddenly you’re making decisions about siding transitions and column details you didn’t know were coming.

We worked through it onsite, created a design for the client to approve, and helped tie the entire front facade together.

A lot of our job is stepping in during those unexpected decision-making moments so the project keeps moving, and the home still feels cohesive in the end.

From dark and cramped to feeling like an at-home spa 🧼🫧

With two young boys at home, our clients wanted a space that felt calm, functional, and entirely their own.

The original bathroom layout felt closed off, with very little natural light reaching the vanity and a shower that made the room feel even smaller.

Working within the existing footprint as much as possible, we opened up the space, brought in more natural light, and expanded the closet into part of the adjacent bedroom to improve how the room functions day to day.

Now the space feels brighter, more open, and much more relaxing at the end of a long day.

A good primary bathroom should make your mornings easier and your evenings feel a little calmer. This one finally does both.

We’re onsite coordinating with the contractor and electrician—walking through ceiling heights, layout shifts, and cabinetry transitions in real time.

It’s the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a project running smoothly, and makes the finished space feel intentional.
