We mainly do larger jobs like building decks, bathroom and kitchen remodels, additions and so on, but also work in smaller jobs like this. Many old houses and cabins here in the mountains have oddball additions presenting challenges. This door was 28” and a hollow core exterior door! It also had a short header due to the shed roof configuration. It also had hazardous deteriorating concrete stairs. We had to cut into the wall, reframe, cut the solid wood door and storm door, and then reassemble the door jamb and threshold! The door is now 32”. My amazing crew demoed the concrete and we built and installed a new staircase with handrail.
