This project was for someone who was selling a home in Evansville, but lived in another state. They trusted me with the work, and I wanted to make sure they were confident in their decision through the process.

Walkthrough videos like this are just one way I’ve found to do that.

I enjoy getting to lend an assist to people starting new ventures. Having good and trustworthy vendors is so important to anyone, but especially those getting going!

Emily is opening .by.em and wanted to give her equipment a good look over before getting started.

I came up and took care of her ‘Spro machine. But definitely want to highlight Alex, I think he was just delivering coffee, but spent an hour breaking down her grinder to get it cleaned and in tip top shape.

I’ve know Alex for years. This is the kind of stuff he does behind the scenes for all of his people.
Every. Dang. Day.

Speaking of day.. keep an eye out for Em’s opening day!! Go like, share, subscribe, whatnot to her page!

Sometimes it’s easy to overlook the little things that make big differences. Often, kitchen remodels are $5,000- 15,000+.

This update… Less than $500. But you CAN NOT tell me this doesn’t feel like a new kitchen. Well.. you could, but I’d still disagree.

Do you have any favorite kitchen upgrades?

Adoorable. Getting this home ready for market. These three doors were missing. A little carpentry, a little paint, we’re back in business!

John has been upgrading the family kitchen. (Doing great job). The countertop cut out was being difficult. So I came out and got it measured and cut for him. Now he’s ready to see and install his new countertop.

While I was at it, I made sure to take one photo in portrait and one in landscape so they would be really difficult to use with Instagrams layout. 😂

A realtor friend brought this project to me. Their client is selling their house, but the tub surround needed some attention.

First things first, clear everything out and see what we’re working with. The panels had been installed with roofing nails, some random blocking, and a less than watertight perimeter.

I made corrections to the framing, added appropriate blocking to the tub spout, and took care of that plumber’s putty mess at the showerhead. Then reinstalled drywall (backing is required for fiberglass sheet shower surrounds).

A little glue, some trimming, and some paint.. bathroom was fixed and this house is ready to be back on the market.

Here I upgraded a gas regulator. Mobile drink vendors sometimes use Nitrogen or CO2 to serve their beverages. Sweet! In transit it is easy for the regulators to get bumped or smashed.

got an upgrade to a new regulator and we made sure there was a roll cage on it to protect those delicate bits.

Folks over at were having issue with gas lines back flowing. They were keeping half of their lines closed down to keep it from causing problems.

That meant more work for the bartenders and missed profits for the business. I’m well-versed in draft systems.

Upgraded them to check valves on all the gas lines. They will have those other two lines up with draft cocktails soon!
