A week and a half ago, I packed up a painting that a client had ordered from my website. I dropped it off and another order at USPS. One was going to MD and this one was going literally to a town 45 minutes south of where I am. I sent the tracking numbers off to my clients, with the anticipated delivery dates 3-4 days away.
Well…the one sent to MD arrived within 4 days. The other one? It was sent north. I get notifications that my package has been delayed. It’s just “stuck” north. I am hoping it will still arrive by Christmas, but I’m losing hope.
So…yesterday, I decided to remake the painting. If it dries within the next day or two, I can varnish it and hopefully drop it off (myself!) by the end of the week. I hate that my package is in limbo, but it happens.
And the good news is the new painting looks soooo much better than the original. Do you agree?
