TOMORROW IS ONION PLANTING DAY!
Even though it's been WILD weather, for BEST RESULTS & the BIGGEST onions, it's best to get your onion plants in the ground this weekend.
Prep the area as good as possible , add your fertilizer and push the onions in just deep enough they stand on their own. You just want the roots in and enough dirt (or mud) around them to hold them upright.

It's almost time to put away the Legos start the real garden plants ! If you want starts this year , the next couple weeks is the time to let me know . I'll be starting the Peppers and Herbs next weekend, the Tomatoes mid feb and all the others in March.
It's a great way to customize and grow what you want so you don't have to settle for the box store plants. $4 a plant this year, I use heirloom seeds..the stores were charging $5.99 and up last year, who knows what they'll be this time.
