ART VS. ARTIST 2024!!!! 😁👏🎨 I could not be more excited to fill all these squares with murals, and that’s not even all of them! I am so unbelievably thankful for everyone who took a chance on me, and I cannot wait for more opportunities in 2024! Hard work pays off! 🥹 I already have a few things cooking with some wonderful clients, and am eager to take on more opportunities (let me know if you’re interested 😉) if things go well in 2024, I’d really love to do a mural give away, so please keep an eye out for details! 😁

I cannot believe I never posted these pictures to my feed! 😱 These fabulous pictures were snapped by the talented and super sweet Natalie Williamson during the Fairhope Arts Alley project! I remember tearing up when I saw them and thinking "wow, I look so happy!" They reminded me of pool deck shots from my swimming days 🩵 A huge, belated thank you! Natalie also wrote a great article about the piece and the Arts Alley project for Gulf Coast News (link below)

Interrupting my regular mural content for a little sneaky peaky at my piece for the Art Squared auction at the Eastern Shore Art Center this Friday! I am extremely honored to put this piece forward alongside a selection of incredible, creative individuals in support of the EASC. You may find yourself thinking, why “Curly” Mural Co? 🤔 Well, to give what is potentially a pretty obvious answer, if you’ve ever seen me bouncing around town painting murals, I am usually wearing my hair down! My curls have become somewhat of a signature look for me, and as much as I struggled to love them growing up, I am very proud of them now. 🙌 I feel like they fit my personality: wild, strange, artsy, and largely uncontrollable! ✨ Yes, I do get a lot of paint in my hair while I work and yes, it is a pain to get out, but I always feel like my most creative self when my curls are dancing while my brush is painting! 🎨
I have been doing some sketching of potential Curly Mural Co logos, and will be positing those sketches here soon! Stay tuned to how much I over think my personal branding 🙃🔥
