Silvered untreated railings power washed, lightly sanded and coated with Flood natural tone UV stain. It is like sunscreen for your deck and it recoats very evenly over time. I've been using this product for nearly 20 years and never had it fail on my jobs in California or the Gulf Coast.

I also build surf & paddleboards; customs in your colors and graphics. I shape the foam on a CAD/CAM program so they are original and repeatable. They are glassed or vacuum bagged in carbon and other composite materials. This 10'5x31 paddleboard has an abstract color pattern that is tinted epoxy resin. It is not paint. I build boards in both Point Clear, AL and Aarhus, Denmark. Prices vary from $800 to $2000 depending on what is required in the build. This is how I get rusty metal ready paint. My pulse laser brings the rust & greasy surface into a perfectly dry and clean metal ready for coating. It is easy to paint things, but you have to use a bondable surface if you want the coating to last.

Carefully controlled slow powerwash of exterior deck; application of Flood UV clear deck finish. I've found that over many years this is my favorite material to fill over old damaged wood and is the easiest to recoat years later without flashing. See the photo of the stairs refinished and the rails still unfinished to see the difference.

The green on green house; Bolinas, CA. There was so much labor on this job that I lost money on the project...but it finished out near perfect and held up to weather. I learned from my mentor that a contractor can offer low price, quality & full service; but only two of them on the same project. The green house got all 3.
