Team Snowtubing Takeaway: The decision was made to let gravity take the lead on this project. ❄️🥶

We braved the freezing temps and took to the slopes for some OOO team building last week. Olympic records were not broken and toes were frozen, but much fun was had and we are looking forward to getting back into the warm office and ramping up the exciting work we have ahead in 2026!

From Concept to Recognition 👏

In some cases, the most exciting work is the collaboration that exists in the space between imagination and reality. Our Lee Design Studio team is excited that our Waterfront Church Project received an Honorable Mention at this year’s AIA Unbuilt Awards. Together, we had a productive charrette thinking through the design, and everyone contributed great solutions and ideas. Tyson Dubbe served as PM, working diligently with the city of Washington, D.C., through the permitting process. Christine Proudfoot navigated the award submission process and presented the thoughtful considerations behind our design. We are hopeful to see this project brought to fruition one day!

Thank you to for supporting architectural discourse and celebrating projects that challenge the status quo, and thank you to in Washington D.C. for hosting the ceremony in their beautiful space. We enjoyed seeing familiar faces in the room and being inspired by the incredible work being done in our industry. Congratulations to all award recipients on their achievements!

Our recently finished Tuckahoe Colonial project now holds the record for the highest priced home sale in Falls Church City.

This 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom classic colonial new-build in the iconic Broadmont neighborhood of Falls Church City, combines modern amenities with a unique aesthetic that compliments neighboring homes. Preserving the timelessness of the classical colonial style while adding some elegance and a color palette that fits the homeowners aesthetic was a fun and collaborative project for our team and our partner Elevation Homes. We love how this turned out!
