❄️ Cold Weather Heating Reminder ❄️
With the extreme cold temperatures we’re experiencing, we want to share a quick reminder about how heating systems are designed to operate.
Most residential heating units are not designed to run nonstop all day and night, nor are they built to maintain 70–80° indoor temperatures when it’s 20–30° outside. In these conditions, an indoor temperature of around 64–66° is considered normal and expected, even when the system is working properly.
When temperatures drop this low, heaters will run more frequently and may still struggle to overcome the heat loss from the home. This does not automatically mean the unit is failing or malfunctioning.
We appreciate your understanding during this cold snap and are always happy to help if you’re experiencing no heat, unusual noises, or system shutdowns. Stay warm and safe! 🏠🔥
