Don't use tape to cover a hole. Yes it may look good but it's not good for long term. Instead take a long yet thin plank, place it behind the hole. Drill screws thru the drywall marked X. This allows you to have a good "stud" that will hold the new drywall in place. Hope this helps!

Here's some tips if you want to change out your own plugs:
1. Turn breaker off for the room your plug is in/near.
2. Test if plug has power using a plug tester before working.
3. Always work as if it's live, essentially avoid touching hot(red/black) and/or
neutral(white) bare copper.
4. Gold houses the hot wire, silver houses neutral, green houses ground.

Here's some tips on if you're diy-ing. 1. Always turn the power off if you're working with wires. 2. Attach your metal flex to your boxes and wires before you screw them onto cabinet walls. 3. Always label your wires so you don't get them mixed up. 4. More wire is better than less, good luck tryna work with short wires inside your boxes. 5. Always use a level when putting up boxes, helps the tame the OCD. !!REMEMBER!! If you don't feel confident then please contact a proffessional!

Loose Cable Cover Plate fix. A few tips to fix one yourself:
1. Use dry wall anchors to secure those screws in place!
2. Use a standard screwdriver to make the holes bigger! Just push in and twist.
3. Use the back side of your screwdriver to push the anchors in, it'll save your fingers!
