Meet Easton Petry
He is a familiar face to our hometown community. But for those of you who do not know Easton he is from Fertile. He graduated last year and began working for Maynard’s Plumbing & Heating right out of high school. He has been working as a heating apprentice learning all the things HVAC. He is a master at installing new ductwork! In his free time he loves spending time with his family and friends, snowmobiling and playing baseball!
We’re proud to have Easton represent Maynard’s Plumbing & Heating and appreciate everything he brings to our team every day! 👏❤️

🚫 “Flushable” Wipes? Not So Fast. 🚫

The label might say flushable, but these wipes don’t break down like regular toilet paper. After you flush them, they can create major issues in your home’s plumbing and in city sewer systems.

Here’s the problem 👇
❌ They don’t dissolve the way toilet paper does
❌ They tangle together and form tough clogs
❌ They jam sewer lines, septic systems, and pumps
❌ They can lead to costly plumbing repairs

We deal with it all the time — clogged toilets, sluggish drains, and even sewer backups caused by wipes lodged deep in the pipes.

✅ The simple rule:
If it’s not toilet paper or human waste, don’t flush it. That includes wipes (yes, even the “flushable” kind), paper towels, feminine products, and diapers — toss those in the trash.

Take care of your pipes. Protect the sewer system. Avoid an expensive repair bill 💸

Joel Larson - owner, operator, bookkeeper, leader of the pack!

For those of you who don’t know the face behind Maynard’s Plumbing & Heating - meet Joel Larson. Joel gets asked often if he’s “Maynard” fun fact. Joel’s middle name is Maynard named after his grandpa Maynard Larson. Maynard was one of Joel’s biggest idols. He had a great bond with his Grandpa. So when coming up with the name for his business he was proud to honor his grandpa. His grandpa did not have the chance to see Joel start his own business (6 years ago) but something tells me he would be very proud! Joel takes pride in his work and doing things right the first time! He has worked in the plumbing and heating field for 12 years.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife - Jade and 3 daughters - Brynn, Gemma & Bekah. When we’re not chasing the girls around with their sports 🏀 🏐 you can find him tinkering in the shop. He has a love for anything with a motor. He recently bought the girls dirt bikes for Christmas.

It’s been a busy time getting underground work done before it’s to late for the season. Joel and Dylan pushed hard and got 3 underground jobs done this week ✔️ 🦾 one more underground push next week.
