The opening season has been particularly busy for us, and we're grateful for the opportunity to serve our customers. Weather conditions play a significant role in determining pool opening timelines, and we've seen the impact of the rainy and snowy off-season. Loop loc covers have proven effective in keeping large debris out of pools, but finer particles can still find their way in. As the water level rises, it's essential to address any debris on the cover to prevent contamination.
To ensure a smooth transition to the swimming season, regular maintenance is crucial. This includes a combination of brushing, skimming, vacuuming, and chemically balancing the pool, as well as maintaining optimal filter performance. Here's a detailed guide for each filter type: DE filters should be backwashed when pressure increases 10psi, followed by a rinse cycle and DE replenishment. Sand filters require backwashing and rinsing when pressure rises 10psi, with sand replacement recommended every 3-5 years. Cartridge filters need cleaning when pressure increases 10psi, using either a garden hose or a specialized cleaning wand. For pools that open in a compromised state, more frequent maintenance may be necessary. Maintaining proper chemical balance is essential for effective sanitization and pool safety.
We are committed to delivering exceptional service and support throughout the season. Feel free to reach out to us for any of your opening, closing , repairs , and maintenance needs!
