Building Futures, One Interview at a Time

Recently, Red Dog’s Roofing was proud to be part of something special at the Youth Innovation Center in Fitchburg, the perfect spot to create, learn, and connect, located at the Adrian L. Ford Center for Change!

Our very own HR team members, Matt and Tara, donated their time and energy to guide 25 amazing teens through a workshop on resumes, interview tips, and mock interviews.

The teens came prepared, asked thoughtful questions, and walked away with stronger confidence in their ability to take the next step toward their future careers.

At Red Dog’s Roofing, we believe in building more than roofs, we’re building communities and futures. Opportunities like this remind us that investing in our youth is investing in all of us. ❤️

This past weekend, Team Red Dog’s took on the tallest peak in the Northeast: Mount Washington (6,288 ft), not just for the challenge, but for a cause close to our hearts.

We climbed to raise money and awareness for mental health, an issue that impacts the construction industry at some of the highest rates compared to any other field. Too often, these struggles stay hidden behind the stigma.

At Red Dog’s, we believe in breaking that silence. By speaking openly, supporting one another, and showing up for causes like this, we’re building more than roofs, we’re building a culture where people know it’s okay to ask for help.

Every step up that mountain was a reminder: no one climbs alone.

Let’s keep pushing upward. For ourselves, for each other, and for the future of our industry.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Kyle! 🌟

❓ What do you do at Red Dog’s Roofing, and how long have you been here?
I’m a Project Manager, and I’ve been with Red Dog’s for about a year and a half.

🤝 How do you help make customers feel confident and comfortable during a roofing project?
For me, it starts with building a bond. I want homeowners to feel like family, not just customers. By keeping them involved every step of the way, they know we’re transparent and have nothing to hide, which builds trust and peace of mind.

💪 What motivates you to get up and work hard every day?
My kids. I believe we need to lead by example. If I woke up every day miserable, my kids would think that’s the way life is supposed to be—and that’s not the lesson I want to teach.

🏠 What’s one thing you wish more customers knew about roofing?
Don’t wait until the last moment to take action. A roof is one of the most important parts of a home—it protects your family while they sleep at night. Having a secure roof means not having to worry about leaks or damage.
