Week 19: Tissue Culture Math 📈🌱

A difference of just one extra shoot per culture may not seem like much—but over multiple multiplication cycles, small gains can turn into hundreds of additional plants. This week, we’re exploring multiplication rates, exponential growth, and why the numbers matter in tissue culture.

Week 17: Environmental Factors Inside The Vessel 🌱

🌵 NEW PLANT ALERT 🌵

These new Euphorbias were a special addition inspired by my fiancé 💚

Every time we visit a greenhouse together, his favorite thing to hunt for is unique cacti and funky succulent-like plants — so when I spotted these, I knew I had to bring them home.

Fun fact: Euphorbias are often mistaken for cacti because of their spiky, sculptural look, but they’re actually a completely different plant family! Most Euphorbias produce a white sap and originate from Africa, while true cacti are native to the Americas.

I’ve also noticed a lot of interest in cacti and desert plants from men lately, so I thought these would be the perfect new addition leading up to Father’s Day — for all the dads and plant dads out there 🌵🪴

Which one would you pick? 👀
