Design west is still looking for experienced carpenters and painters, and preferably someone that is versed in both. Schedule can be flexible for full, part time or odd schedules as long as someone shows up when they say. Pay will be paid per experience which is necessary.

Small bathroom remodel we finished up a couple weeks ago, Sorry I don’t have any before pictures but we removed the old plastic shower surround and installed all new tile we were able to save and reuse the existing shower doors and we painted brown vanity gray then recolored the white grout in the tile dark.

Design West is looking to hire some new crew mates for painting and carpentry with or without prior experience. Pay rates will be experience based and start at a rate of $15 per hour. We are a small family owned and operated company so there will be a short audition period to see if and how each new member fits in before being hired on. Must have good reliable transportation and a good work ethic. Basic background check is necessary. Pm for more info.

Well it took longer than expected to finish this one a lot due to lack of materials available but the finish product was well worth the wait and the homeowners couldn’t be happier. Sorry no before pics on the interior beam but it was just a plain white wood beam that was falling down due to incorrect installation from the original builder. The screws holding it were in the drywall and only 2 actually hit a truss, the caulk held it up from falling. The beam we installed is actually a Fypon faux beam that we stained and glazed for a real wood finish look.

So here’s a little before and after from today. You can’t tell but the wall is actually plaster textured to blend and we made the touch up color ourselves on site; a dying art in this field. Btw we didn’t create the dirty mess on the floor it was like this when we showed up and cleaned it up before we even put our drops down.

Small job we did this week. The Bifolds opened up into the handrail which was a waste of space, so we built a wall in place, reincorporated the handrail to die into the wall and installed a new door giving the homeowner more space in their master bedroom. The homeowner opted to finish paint the walls himself to save a few bucks.
