At dinnertime, a family tradition of ours is to name our "High, Low, Buffalo" moments: we each share a high of the day, a low of the day, and a funny or weird (or whatever) "buffalo" moment.
At New Years, we do it in reflection for the whole year. So here's our Badass Lawn High Low Buffalo for 2024!
- Badass Lawn had some amazing highs this year - but the cherry on top is our blossoming relationship with A1 Organics. We are thrilled to be working with them more closely in 2025 - it's such an awesome business and really great people.
- Our low for 2025 is when Seth broke his foot and had to just work through the pain, for weeks, during our busiest composting season. Yikes. That sucked. Good thing he's Badass Strong and found a great counterstrainer PT for rehab.
- Our buffalo moment is definitely every time Seth came home after applying compost, completely covered in a fine black dust like a coal mine worker. That was always a good laugh, and we had fun hosing him off in the yard! It also prompted his facial hair change from a beard to a mustache, which we all love, too. ;)
