The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society found portraits of some of the founding families hidden in their collection, painted by Margaret Aiken, between 1970 – 1985, and donated to HS.
Margaret died in 2003 but she has a son who is a significant painter of the US west. HIs brother is joining is speaking this evening for the lecture and discussions of his mother’s portraits.
