Big news at DeWald Gardens. We have decided that this will be our last year for running the garden center. Our children have both moved to the west coast and we are anxious to see the rest of this big world while we still enjoy good health. The new owners would be starting with their own business plans and would not be continuing the garden center. Like so many things in life once a decision is made things have a way of moving very fast and this has been no exception.

We are scheduled to have an auction on Saturday September 16th starting at 9AM. We are selling everything that is left. This is your chance to have your own hobby greenhouse. There are 4 – 20’ x 96’; complete with heaters and fans if you want. The retail store still has some nice pottery and interesting antiques.

We want to thank each and everyone of you for your encouragement, kind words and patronage. Fort Wayne and all of our friends will always have a special place in our hearts and we look forward to share the rest of our lives and journeys together. More information on the auction to follow.
