I’ve been doing a lot of drainage jobs lately, at least one or two a week… these are just a couple… and yes, they are drainage disguised as beautification projects. One is an unusable side yard that I made using pea gravel… I didn’t get any before pictures but it was bad… the second set of pics is an add on to an existing one I did a year or so ago but the water just overwhelmed the original creating mud slides and it was messy… so I added another level of 4x6’s w 4” perforated pipe strategical placed, buried underneath a 1” river rock… the posts act as a retaining wall to shed the water to either side and during heavy rains the pipe catches the overflow and carries it to the sides of the planter… very nice and very effective… call me for a quote

UPDATE: just wanted to share the completed rails… we kept the step down design to match the multi level deck… we used galvanized cattle panel for the spindles and CCA lumber for the handrails, the insets are 2x2’s measured and cut to fit… this was a fun and fulfilling project… now we are ready to seal…

Two completed projects this month… both are CCA construction and built to code… the top picture is a 450sf deck w steps and a 250sf covered patio w matching shingles attached to the roof… the bottom is a 10x16 deck w an attached pergola and a screen to help protect from the sun… both took about about a week to finish…

UPDATE: nearing completion on our deck… I wanted to show the rails and the (3) landing decks we built this weekend… we still need to add the steps down from the lower level leading to the firepit area ( not built) and the rails around the outside of the deck… back in 3weeks !!!
