I refinished a Baldwin baby grand piano for a client who had displayed it near a window with the lid opened to showcase the soundboard. The exposure to direct sunlight caused noticeable bleaching of the stain on the mahogany lid. To address this issue, I custom-matched the stain and meticulously blended the affected area to achieve a uniform appearance.
