NeoCon brings together industry leaders, manufacturers, designers, and thought leaders to explore the latest trends, emerging technologies, innovative products, and workplace strategies that shape the future of interior spaces. As Shannon engages exhibitors and attends educational sessions, she will gather insights to inform the creation of thoughtful, functional, and inspiring environments for our clients.

Last week, our team had the honor of hosting guests and members of the for a tour of our newest Net Zero Energy building - Terranova Ranch in Helm, CA. Senior Associate Architect, Shaunt Yemenjian, along with Terranova Vice President, Don Cameron, led the tour, providing insights about the design and use of data analytics.

With the combination of thoughtful, intentional design and detailing and technology like .tool, we were able to reduce the EUI (energy use intensity) from 43 to 0 using simple, cost-effective design strategies and offset the remainder with on-site photovoltaic arrays. Simple design moves like elevating the ground plane to maximize views and extending the roof overhang to reduce solar heat gain fused practical sustainability into a beautiful design solution.

Now Open! Did you know that university has a new Maker Studio? PHA just finished the construction phase on this wonderful new asset for the community.
