Handmade wreaths for all occasions: holidays, weddings, baby, characters, religious, sports, pets. We are empty nesters except for our 2 mini dachshunds.

I'm Michelle, and I have been married to my high school sweetheart Phil for 35 years! We have three children and two precious grandchildren. I love living in Georgia, spending time with my family, crafting, and shopping. I started this page in 2013 after I learned to make deco mesh wreaths. At first I made them for myself and family/friends but I got more and more requests so I started this little Whimsy Wreaths business. I love to design handmade wreaths with deco mesh, burlap, ribbons and accessories for all occasions. Each wreath is unique and has a touch of whimsy. Don't see a color or style that matches your decorations? I can create a custom wreath to bring your vision to life. Bows, tree toppers, or garlands can also be coordinated to your decor. I design wreaths for weddings, baby, showers, or any occasion! Thanks for stopping by, and please feel free to contact me with any questions (678) 316-3701. https://www.instagram.com/whimsywreathsbymichelle

My daughter's Trunk or Treat Toy Story theme. Didn't she do an amazing job?

Arbor thoughts: Peace in chaos

I'm enjoying the time left where I can sit out at the arbor. These two always join me!

Multiple challenges seem to have appeared in our life the last month. After losing my father in law, my mother suddenly went from an active, healthy person to a cancer patient. She came home with us after a week in the hospital. In the midst of all that, the contractor we talked to weeks ago about doing some repair/ remodeling work in our house said he was ready to start. So our house is in chaos. We empty rooms, moving stuff from one place to the other. My mom went home because my bedrooms are taken apart! My wreath room is also holding overflow stuff. I need to cull some of my "stuff." Problem is, I like my stuff!

Yesterday my mother in law was admitted to the hospital and is very sick. We're taking this one day at a time.

Soon things will settle down. I keep John 16:33 in my heart and try to be of good cheer. And knowing I am not alone in the chaos.

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Do you think this is accurate? It is based on Instacart orders per state.

Our house is mint chocolate chip and choc chip cookie dough!

Is your favorite flavor represented?

I thought Magic Kingdom really elevated their fall decor this year! 🍂✨

I loved seeing all the little themed details throughout the park—gemstones tucked into the fall swags at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and sunflowers and honey bees adding the perfect touch at Winnie the Pooh.🐝🌻

It’s those extra details, thought, and creativity that make the decor so special. 🧡

It's been around for a while, but still one of the best!

I was honored to create this matching pair of grapevine wreaths for a local church. The rich fall colors, sunflowers, autumn leaves, and layered plaid bows came together beautifully. I hope they help to welcome everyone who walks through those doors. 🤎

Arbor thoughts: Stubborn

I have a confession: I don't drink water. Ever. Well, if I work out I drink some. But during the normal day I never do. And I don't understand myself. I know it is probably not a good thing to never drink water. I bought a really cute water cup thinking it would motivate me. It's been 3 weeks and I've never used it.

What's behind my stubbornness? I have no idea. Even my dogs seem to understand water is necessary. Any helpful hints to motivate water intake would be appreciated!
