Teddies Afrique Summer Sewing Camp 2025 – Creativity Starts Here!
This summer, give your child the opportunity to create, design, and build confidence through the art of sewing! Our Summer Sewing Camp is designed to ignite creativity, develop hands-on skills, and introduce young minds to the world of fashion and self-expression.
Camp Dates: June 23 – August 15
Days: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Time Options:
• Morning Session: 11AM – 2PM
• Evening Session: 5PM – 8PM

What We’ll Be Making:
Our campers will work on exciting hands-on projects that they'll be proud to show off and take home, including:
Custom tote bags
Stylish scrunchies and headbands
Pajama pants or shorts
African print throw pillows
Personalized aprons
Simple dresses or skirts
A final showcase piece – a fully styled outfit designed by your child!
Each student will learn how to:
Safely operate a sewing machine
Read and follow simple sewing patterns
Hand stitch with purpose and precision
Select fabrics, cut patterns, and finish garments professionally

Every student receives their own sewing machine to take home. This allows them to continue practicing their skills and complete fun assignments outside of class.
