Post-snowstorm tip: after everything is dry be sure your Engineers are doing this: Clean + Inspect + Repair

🧹 Sweep up remaining ice melt/sand, clear drains and curb lines. Be sure to check concrete for scaling/spalling and new cracking. Your asphalt should be inspected for cracking, raveling, soft spots, and potholes from the freeze–thaw process we experience in the Carolinas.
The best move is to fix small issues quickly—crack sealing and targeted patching now helps prevent bigger failures later.

🚧We all already know that winter weather in (and around) Charlotte Metro creates real safety and liability concerns for our Property Managers, HOAs, and Facilities teams... but don't forget this:

❄️While snow and ice removal is necessary, overuse or leftover ice melt can damage concrete and asphalt, accelerating scaling, cracking, and surface deterioration.
