Another project completed for a client with attention to detail and quality workmanship. 🔨🧰

Before, during and after this water damage repair project 💦

✔️Installed new rafter vents
✔️Removed and replaced damaged insulation
✔️Installed new drywall with a Level 4 finish and texture match
✔️Primed and painted the ceiling, with additional wall touch-ups for a seamless finish
✔️Repaired two sink drains that were leaking

Now her room is all ready for primer and paint! This was a 4 level finish technique.

Drywall and finishing work is something I genuinely enjoy. It’s a skill I learned (and mastered!) during my 10+ years working for a drywall company, and it’s still one of my favorite parts of the job.

Hey everyone! I’m Scott — born and raised in Detroit, now proud to call Ga***rd home. I’ve always loved the slower pace and strong sense of community that northern Michigan offers. My life partner, Sarah, and I have a 5-year-old special needs son and a 22-year-old daughter. About two years ago, we bought a 114-year-old home to restore and make our own — it’s been a rewarding project and a big part of why I love what I do! A true labor of love 🏡

After years of helping friends, family, and neighbors with home repairs and renovations, I decided to officially start Scott’s Mr. Fix-It Handyman Services. I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and affordable — helping people get quality results without breaking the bank.
