Wallflower Landscaping and Horticulture was founded by Ronnie Severino and Chad Reyes after years of experience and shared passion for the natural world. Ronnie Severino has 10+ years of landscaping and arboriculture experience and has completed Level II masonry workshops at the world renowned Stone Trust in Dummerston, VT. He previously worked at Phantom Gardener in Rhinebeck, NY for 4 years, whe
re he met Zebedee Personius and began an apprenticeship in Arbor Care. Through this experience he had the chance to collaborate with Zebedee on many projects from the building of cedar gardens to detailed tree maintenance. From there, he began working for Moloney Landscaping and Design as the foreman, where he worked alongside TV celebrity Jay Gruen, host of the show Unplugged Nation on FYI network. From Jay he learned numerous skills which further added to his skill set as a master landscaper. Ronnie met Chad working for Moloney Landscaping and Design where they developed a friendship, co-creative work ethic, and similar aesthetic of natural landscape design. Chad Reyes has been landscaping, farming, and gardening for 5+ years. He began his love for the natural world at a young age, having grown up in the Hudson Valley. He loved climbing in trees, being in nature, and planted and cultivated his first garden at the age of 8 years old. He comes from a family lineage of farmers and tree workers. As a teenager, he worked summers on a cherry farm, and in later years worked on an large scale organic farm in the foothills of Virginia. He has worked as a personal gardener for several clients. He joined Moloney Landscaping and Design in 2015 where he met Ronnie Severino and worked with Jay Gruen. Chad has been considered by fellow workers and clients as a "landscaping prodigy" where he artfully designs stone walls and patios, landscapes, and trees with a detailed and creative eye. He has completed Level II masonry workshops at the Stone Trust in Dummerston, VT. Julisse Cruz is the office manager, co-owner and primary contact for all billing and accounting questions. She brings over 20+ years of receivable experience having worked as an account analyst at Columbia University Medical Center in NYC and also locally at CMH in Hudson, NY. She studied Communications at William Paterson University and has excellent customer service skills as well as being fluent in both English and Spanish. Julisse would be more than happy to answer any and all questions regarding finances.
