Tip for the day. On the rare occasions when you can grab a nap- do it!

Alright, here's your tip for the day. Ready?
When you're pruning a shrub, stop every few minutes. Stand back and look at it
When you are concentrating on one area, you can lose the "big picture ".
Step back, and see the plant as a whole.

Well, here's your Gardening Tip for the Day....
When watering dry flower containers or gardens, don't go full blast with the hose right away.
Like a dry sponge, the soil needs a little water at first, so it will accept water.
So give them accept all a little splash, then come back in a couple of minutes to water more completely.

P.S. Cutter Backwoods Dry is my favorite to fend off the skitters. I should know. The little buggers love me!
