Hi, this is Donna with the Dahlia Addiction. The nights have warmed up so I’ve started dahlia bed clean up. The winter blankets of mulch are coming off and larger dahlia clumps get divided with the extras for sale. Every year different varieties become available as I develop or redesign the beautiful flower garden beds that visitors may tour for free.
I am a cut flower dahlia farmer, rather than a commercial tuber grower, so there is no list of all my dahlia varieties. Each visit to the farm will offer unique choices depending on what I’ve been working on. Dahlia tubers, starts and plants are generally available mid-April through June. Flowers are generally available mid-July through the October frosts.
Today, April 21st, these varieties are out.
Tubers: Reedley, Snoho Doris, Gitt’s Crazy, Lake Tahoe, Corona Karma Red, Unforgettable, Mingus Toni, Mingus Toni lighter, Mingus Alex, Robann Regal, Puget Sparkle, Myrtle’s Folly, LeBaron, Willie Willie. Several more varieties will get bagged up when it rains.
Plants: FireMagic, Lady Darlene, Puget Sparkle, Reedley, Cornel Bronze, Manhattan Island, Lake Michigan.
Self-serve prices as marked, but most tubers are $5, most potted tubers and small clumps $10.
Full service prices are higher.

Hopefully the cold night temps will warm up by next weekend so that I can start putting out eyed up tubers and house started dahlia plants by next Friday. We actually have a chance of snow predicted for Tuesday. No shipping, only sales in our self-serve stand at Butler's Farm.
