Let’s talk about supplemental light sources. There are many ways that you can supplement light around your home. I have many kinds, as you can see. Some are grow bulbs in normal fixtures, some are grow light bars, some halo lights. The majority of what I have is thrifted! And all of them are on outlet timers so it’s a hands off, never-have-to-think-about-it system. I got most of my timers at thrift shops too. So, if you do t have great windows in your home, all is not lost!! You can still be a plant parent with a little creativity.

I might be the indoor plant collector but my husband is definitely the outdoor food forest curator!! It’s going to be a yummy year!! Also a fun fact, my girlfriends and I took a trip many many years ago to San Francisco and had the BEST passion fruit curd donuts. I STILL think about those donuts and can’t wait for our first prolific passion fruit harvest to try and duplicate them 🍩
