Never have seen one just floating in the middle of the pool...
Normally they are stuck in the skimmer or hanging out right under the skimmer lid...
Not sure what type it was...?
Water snake or copperhead?

I am looking for a service technician that has all working knowledge/experience of swimming pools and pool equipment. Must be able to perform electrical and plumbing duties. Must have excellent references. You must have your own transportation and be able to haul new equipment and old equipment on and off of job sites. I offer excellent pay per job. This is a part-time/as needed position that could possibly lead to full-time employment. Please give me a call to discuss.

You might see this as just another start up...
But there was about 2” of sand and sediment at the bottom of this one along with large debris due to run off...
