We specialize in structural issues with bathtubs and showers. Most of the structural issues we come across are located in the bottom of the tub. Every once in awhile we come across something like this. The homeowner stood on the dam of the tub and caused it to crack and drop down. We jacked up the tub and use a structural support foam to hold it in place. We also filled the dam with foam to give it more strength there also. Once the tub was properly supported we then were able to make the needed repairs.

Our tub conversions are all custom built for your specific needs. One of our customers wanted to be able to still use the bathtub but take three and a half inches off the top of the dam. The dam on this particular tub was much higher than normal which made it very difficult for the residents to enter and exit the shower. With the tub cut down three and a half inches, and the addition of 3 grab bars, this shower will be much safer for future use.
