Today's emergency sewer line replacement.

Our customer had a broken sewer line that roots kept getting in so we used our sewer camera and located exactly where the issue was. We then replaced the bad section of pipe and everything else we could up to an underground gas main. We then backfilled and had them back up and running by the end of the day.

My friends in the Plumbing and Heating business know that I have been putting off installing these Compact Ultra High efficiency boiler and water heater Combination units for as long as I can.

I'm oldschool in the sense that I like simple and efficient but that was not an option for this installation.

We came across a home that had a boiler and water heater installed in a very small closet. The exhaust from the boiler was being illegally power vented into a screened in poarch for the last 26 years.It was time to change the boiler and this was the only option to keep it up to code.

So here it is, out with the old Weil McClain boiler and in with the new state of the art Navien. Of course the first installation was in the tightest spot you could possibly find, but myself and our customers are very happy with the way it turned out.

We pulled a rabbit out of a hat again today.

For some reason we constantly get calls for jobs that no other plumbers want or know how to figure out.

We were called into Union Gap Village for a bad leak under a slab on the hot water side. Another company had previously been out and told our customer that they would need to jackhammer to their entire kitchen floor which is tile and their living room floor which is hardwood to replace the pipe.

After one small whole in a closet and some investigative work we found out that the line we needed to get to was behind a cabinet. We cut an access panel in the back of the cabinet and in the back of the washer and dryer and managed to run a new hot water line through their old leaking hot water pipe. In the picture the 1/2 inch red pex line inside the black polly pipe is the new water line. It was like magic!

The fact that they are on city water and have great pressure to start with allows this repair to work. What would have cost somewhere between 10,000 and $15,000.00 in extensive repairs cost our customer less then $2000 from start to finish.

I guess you can say we are becoming specialist at this. The is our second repair like this this year. Here are a few pictures of what we had to work with and the finished repair.

Needless to say we have another very satisfied customer!
