Was really great getting over to Walnut, IA for the Walnut Iowa's Antique Show and getting to be a vendor, though just like when I go on vacation...I need a vacation from vacation! Anyone else that way? 🥰 We are going to be taking one more day to get settled back up at the shop, so closed Wednesday this week. As we continue to shuffle things back into the shop and restocking. Thanks to all that stopped by and especially to those that helped make this last week possible. Absolutely could not have done it without all those that pitched in and helped!!

So many great vendors here at Walnut Iowa's Antique Show , the itch to go look took over yesterday and I have a feeling it will again. 🙃 Snagged myself the most amazing "door stop" pics in comments along with a few pictures from our booth space. Show runs till 2 today, bring a wagon (for all the treasures you WILL find, some cash for those great finds and an umbrella for the few little sprinkles that might pop up.

Well we did it! Walnut Iowa's Antique Show Come see us and so many other great vendors and shops at the fathers day weekend, The saying "It truly takes a village to pull this off, is no joke! Thankful to be supported so well by some really great people! We are on the first morning, of our first ever of being a vendor!! Bring on the coffee! We are right in front of the post office if you happen to be in walnut today, Saturday or Sunday

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY! Are you ready for a break from the outdoor clean up from the storms? Looking to revamp your sewing space? Perhaps prepping for the new quilt shop Loess Hills Quilt Company being in our area! Got these 2 modern cabinet organizer drawers in this week! Only $68.50 each. Unstack them to make a great desk area or put them in a closet to organize all the kids summer art supplies/legos/ makeup drawers. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES. No kids, not much for sewing and crafts, these still make great organizers for all kinds of things.... we keep one in a closet for the all the charging cords, ipads, laptops and headphones, ear buds airpods etc. Hard to not take these home with me!!

Another storm running through Glenwood last night. Thankfully no hail! No power meant no coffee this morning, though my brain was not working and still tried to make coffee. Lol 😑 Not my favorite way to start the day. We went to town to hunt for coffee. Thanks to some of town still having power we successfully found coffee and donuts! We do have power at the store but are going to forgo opening today. Will open Friday 11-6 and Saturday 9-12. Will try to get some pictures posted of new treasures finds posted today. To start with this vintage Rare greek folklore pottery by Pasedena artist Joy Thompson, Piping Pan!

CLOSED today for a bigger purpose:
1-We won't be up at the store today putting out these great new finds.
2-We won't be going to outer space to build a city or deep diving to the ocean!
3- Something way more valuable though... WE WILL be helping our small community and supporting our neighbors after the lovely storm that rolled through last night.
4-Have a wonderful day, be safe and if you are able, please go help a neighbor.

Traveling is on my mind! The slow rainy day defintily has me searching for vacation destinations! Gosh an extra pep in my step I would have checking in at the airport or rolling into my hotel with one of these beauties! 1970's Plaid Skyway rolling suitcase. YES PLEASE!
