Why would you consider decorative overlay? Allow me to explain what we do, and see for yourself!
What is it?
- Our overlay system is a multi-layer project consisting of different specific materials and colors to bring YOUR ideas to life.
How is it done?
- We start by assessing all, if any, damage to your exiting concrete that needs to be addressed. Cracking, flaking, or even eroded and missing concrete makes no difference to us.
So what does that mean for you?
* You do NOT have to have new concrete for an overlay! We can use your existing concrete, damaged or not!
- Next, we use our extensive cleaning and grinding procedure to ensure the surface is ready for the first layer.
- Our specific blend for the first layer is not only to allow complete adhesion to the concrete, but it is also what shows as the grout color!
- The second layer is what includes your design, this is the bulk of the material that makes up your new decorative floor. This is the layer that we can shape to whatever pattern or designs you want! 100% custom and unique to YOUR project!
So what does that mean for you?
* Not only will this project be a completely unique, and one-off design, but we can also appease to the satisfaction of straight lines, perfectly fitting pieces, and balance, because we aren’t tied down to any specific dimensions! If you’re going to look at something every day, and you’re anything like me, a single line that isn’t straight or a piece of tile that wasn’t complete can catch my eye. With the ability to completely design every pattern, we can make everything fit within its specific area, to be the most aesthetically pleasing piece you can dream of!
- Our third and final layer is what not only seals the entire system, but also determines the type and level of gloss, along with the durability for the amount of traction it might see!
So what does that mean for you?
* This layer is what will provide the shine that will put a smile on your face every time you see your improved area! This sealer will provide the weather-resistant layer that is also non-porous, unlike your regular, uncovered concrete!
With all of these layers combined, our system adds not only beautification to your area, but added strength as well! Our overlay system is TWICE as strong as 4” concrete!
