Find me and my Pride ornaments at Broadleaf this weekend!
Hope to see lots of faces out this coming Sunday at our annual Holiday Bazaar 🤠
We've got a great lineup of artists with new work that will be displayed between noon and 7pm. That gives you the whole afternoon to gift shop while enjoying some beers and lunch. After that we're kicking off our first ever Vinyl Night!
Participating artists include:
Teal Moon GR
Lyssa is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They've been practicing various types of fine art for many years, and started Teal Moon GR in 2017. They use a broad range of mediums; from graphite and colored pencil to watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paints. They draw inspiration from folklore and mythology, as well as Celtic Paganism and its connection to nature. They are as much intrigued by the magical and playful nature of the folktales as they are with the profound and sometimes bleak cultural influences. As a result, their work tends to float between whimsical and slightly haunting.
Katy Pearson encompasses the beauty of life, juxtaposed closely with the certainty of death. I have always had an interest in nature, and the wonders to be found within all the small and seemingly minute details it effortlessly provides. The beauty of a single petal, the sheen of a dragonfly's wings as it hurries by, the perfect combs that honeybees construct. At the same time, lets not forget, it all must come to an end. But does it? In my art, I strive not only to preserve, but amplify the elegance of life that once was, and recreate a version or fantasy of what could be. The creepies, the crawlies, the dead and decayed, they all have a place saved for them, here with NekMoff. -Katy Rose
Maggie Ann Soap Co.
Good-Natured Soap - Since 2014, Maggie Ann Soap Co. has been practicing the art of clean. What does that mean? Well, I don’t just create soap; I create little masterpieces. Each product is made with love, care, and respect –– for my craft, for my customers, and for our planet.
My needle felting is inspired by nature. I have always loved going on hikes and seeing the variety of beautiful fungi on the forest floor.
