Ok guys! I am so excited to finally be able to share the photos of our large landscape project in Martins Point! We put a lot of time and effort to make this landscape tailored to the clients needs and wants! They have waited a long time to finally be able to use their backyard and pool again after installing a new bulkhead, removing and replacing their pool and pool deck, and then capping off their year of renovations with putting their landscape back together! This was a 3 week project that include plants, river rock, mulch, beautiful palms trees, mulch, Bermuda sod, and a nice synthetic turf area next to the pool! We also renovated a front landscape bed and reworked their gravel parking area on the side of the house! I know they were very happy to have their yard back together and enjoy the last few weeks of summer in their new pool!

Project update pics! So this is where we stand on our project in Nags Head! We’re off this project for a couple of days because one of us has jury duty!!! The back yard is complete and waiting for our synthetic turf to come in, and the front yard is coming along nicely! We have been digging up and sifting the existing river rocks that we’re not installed properly, and re-installing them in a proper and more organized fashion! Plant material is installed in the front left to add some curb appeal The right side of the house was required to have a drainage swale so we enhanced it and extended its life by adding the soil separation fabric and the grey drainage stone, which also makes a nice walkway! The drainage pond in the front will get some larger river cobbles to help keep it from eroding! Have a great day everyone!

Progress pics from our landscape and artificial turf installation in Nags Head! Our turf is on back order, so while we are waiting, we finished off the planting and river rock in the back and started on the river rock rehab for the front and sides! Lots of work still to go for the front and literally tons of rock to dig up, sift, and re-lay properly!

Sheesh!! Very long, but productive day! We finished laying all the soil barrier fabric, Row spent most of the day cutting beautiful curves in our lumber edging, and we even put a dent in our giant pile of rocks! Notice the pics of the 2 small French drains at the ends of the pool drains…very important detail to prevent any wash out or floating of the artificial turf during our heavy downpours! We hope you all have a great evening, I for one am going to bed early to rest up for rock and roll Thursday!

So, we haven’t posted in a while, and there’s a good reason for that…we were on a large landscape install that I had professionally photographed! Drone shots included! So this week we are starting on a project that we have been really looking forward to! We were initially invited to install both the pool deck and landscape on this pool renovation project, but unfortunately our schedule would not allow for the pool deck install😢 However, Jason’s Lawn and Landscape was able to come in and get this beautiful Coralstone pool deck installed in a timeframe suitable for the clients to be able to use their new pool, and we were invited to do the landscape installation! These are the before pictures, and we will have a special treat for you guys when the job is complete!

So I haven’t been able to post daily pics because the storms rolled in before I could take pictures!! ⛈ We’ve made some great progress and should be finishing up tomorrow!!! Here are some pictures showing lunchtime progress on the patio using and Victorien in Sandalwood Cuts are done but we tan 2 pieces short on so we will finish that in the morning. Day 5 pictures!! We have the the pergola completely framed in and about 50% painted! We ran into an issue with the sail shade…even though it says it’s a rectangle, it’s actually curved on all 4 sides so it does not fit the top. We have a backup plan so we will make adjustments on Monday! Have a great weekend everyone!

Day 4 progress pics: YAY! Pergola rafters are all up, screwed and blocked in! We are 95% prime red and ready for a coat of paint tomorrow! We will get the sail shade up tomorrow and then screening and pavers will go in next week! Should wrap up by next Friday! I can’t wait to see this project when it’s completed! I think this family will be the Jones’ everyone else will be trying to keep up with!!!
