As part of our design process, we first get to know the client- their favorite colors, favorite memories, what they most enjoy and what makes them unique. We then create 2-3 custom design plans for our clients to choose from as we move into the selections phase of the design process.

By creating multiple renderings, the client is able to compare various options against their preferences and truly hone in on what they live and what feels most like them.

This bathroom was one of three designs that we presented to a client in Keller, TX. The client enjoyed Rick wood tones, contrasts created with rich black metals, and rich color tones. The challenges facing this renovation included maximizing storage space and minimizing spend.

We think we landed on an option that met all of their needs and gave them much to consider. What are your thoughts?

A little pinch-me moment! 🤍

I’m so honored to have been featured in CanvasRebel Magazine, sharing a little about my journey, my love for interior design, and the heart behind Anna Bouchelle Interior Designs.

Bringing my business from DFW to Abilene has been such a special new chapter. There is something truly wonderful about this community, and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to put down roots here, build meaningful relationships, and help families create homes that feel uniquely theirs.

Social media can be a wonderful place to gather inspiration—but it rarely tells the whole story.

The rooms we save are beautifully styled, professionally photographed and shown on the very best day of their lives. They can inspire us, but they shouldn’t become the standard by which we judge our own homes.

Good design should solve today’s needs while leaving room for what comes next.

For this retail and studio space, I created a thoughtful color story that feels cohesive without losing the creativity and personality of the original space. Muted sage cabinetry, warm wood, aged brass, soft marble tones, and a touch of vintage mint work together to give the kitchenette its own identity while connecting it beautifully to the surrounding rooms.

Every choice was made with the future in mind—balancing storage, durability, hospitality, and flexibility to create a space that can support retail, workshops, creative projects, and everyday gatherings. The result is a multifaceted design that feels polished, practical, and completely unique to the people who will use it.

Holiday decorating should feel meaningful, personal and beautifully connected to your home. It should not leave you exhausted before the season even begins.

This year, we are offering a limited number of holiday styling dates for Abilene homes. Packages being offered:

STYLE WHAT YOU HAVE | starting at $795
One standard tree up to 9 feet or one focal area, with up to three hours of professional styling using the decorations you already own.

HOLIDAY HOME REFRESH | starting at $1,495
One standard tree plus up to two additional focal areas, with up to six hours of on-site styling.

HOLIDAY DESIGN CONSULTATION | $225
A 75-minute in-home session for clients who want a professional plan and prefer to complete the decorating themselves.

To keep each installation running smoothly, trees must be assembled, lit and working before arrival. Existing decorations should be unpacked and accessible. Larger trees, complex garlands and additional rooms are quoted separately. Clients must provide working, steady ladders

Décor, ribbon, florals and purchased materials are separate. Shopping and sourcing include a design fee. Additional styling is $175 per hour, and return visits require a two-hour minimum.

A 50% nonrefundable retainer reserves your date. January takedown may be added for 50–60% of the installation price.

I am accepting only four to six homes for this first season so every installation receives thoughtful, personal attention.

PART TWO: HOW THOSE LESSONS SHAPE MY DESIGNS

I don’t believe a meaningful home is created in one shopping trip—or by filling it with whatever happens to be trending.

A home should be collected thoughtfully over time. It should honor your story, support the way your family really lives and surround you with things that bring peace and comfort.

That means mixing old with new, spending carefully, choosing intentionally and designing for the memories you want to make—not simply for the instagram post.

I’m Anna—a wife, mom of two, and interior designer with a background in social work. My own family’s experience shaped the way I approach every project: listening closely, understanding how you live, and creating a home where you feel comfortable and like yourself.

After building my business in DFW, our family put down roots in Abilene. Today, I help clients here in West Texas, in DFW, and virtually across the country.

Design Camp is about more than spending an afternoon talking about beautiful rooms.

You’ll leave with a workbook full of practical guidelines and thoughtful exercises you can return to as you make real decisions about your home—from curtain placement and lighting to color, fabric and honoring the history of your space.

Most importantly, we’ll look at what is driving your decorating decisions and begin building a plan that supports your budget, creates peace and makes room for the gatherings you imagine.
