We had such a wonderful time presenting at the Greenwood Women’s Club luncheon!

Our presentation, “Trust Me, I’m a Designer!” was all about sharing a few of our favorite tips and tricks to help make your spaces feel more styled, intentional, and true to your style.

We loved walking through accessorizing essentials and demonstrating three different tablescape scenarios to show just how much small changes can transform a space. It is always amazing to see how layering, balance, and a few thoughtful pieces can bring everything together beautifully.

Thank you to the Greenwood Women’s Club for having us and to everyone who joined us. We truly enjoyed spending the afternoon with you!

Before the holiday season is truly over, we’ve got one more Christmas installation to share!

For this home, the goal was simple and intentional: a warm, homey Christmas. No glitz. No glamour. Just meaningful, cozy, and inviting. 🤎🌲

Because the homeowners are hunters and love the outdoors, we leaned into a woodsy, earthy palette with layered natural textures and handcrafted elements.

The statement tree was styled with wooden snowflakes, antlers, wool garland, flocked accents, and personal ornaments collected over the years. We wove grapevine garland throughout the branches for an organic, handcrafted feel, and finished it with two coordinating star toppers for an unexpected touch.

In the dining room, the client’s treasured nativity was given a quiet, reverent moment with soft bottle brush trees and fresh greenery. From mantel to porch to the exterior greenery, every detail was designed to feel authentic, nostalgic, and deeply comforting.

Designing Christmas in a 100 year old home calls for restraint, reverence, and just the right amount of magic.

This historic Greenwood home belongs to Mitchell and Katherine Rogers, and it is filled with antiques, heirlooms, and sentimental pieces collected over generations. Our goal was to honor what already existed, not overpower it.

We layered six trees throughout the home, styling three of the client’s existing trees and adding three new ones designed specifically for each space. Every tree was created to feel intentional, collected, and timeless.

The sunroom features a white tree accented with bright ribbon and candy strands, designed with the grandchildren in mind. In the den, silk plaid ribbon and live magnolia bring warmth and tradition. The living room tree remains understated, dressed in glass ornaments that pair beautifully with the surrounding antiques.

The crowning glory lives in the dining room. Two 9 foot trees are dressed in velvet ribbons, glittered leaves, and crystal branches, while cream poinsettias in blue and white cachepots provide a soft, elegant finish at the table.

Gingerbread houses and Santa in the kitchen add a touch of whimsy, reminding us that holiday design should feel joyful and personal.

This is Christmas design that respects history, celebrates family, and feels at home in a space that has stood for a century.

Day 30 | 30 Days of 30 Years

Thirty days. Thirty years. And so many moments in between.

This month has been a gift. Taking time to look back through three decades of work, clients, homes, stories, friendships, and memories reminded me just how grateful I am to do what I love. Every project I shared this month holds a place in my heart, and so many of you have been part of that journey in one way or another.

Thank you for following along, for your kind messages, for cheering through each post, and for celebrating this milestone with me. Your support has meant more than I could ever put into words.

And while this 30-day series comes to an end, the heart behind it doesn’t. There is still so much beauty to create and so many stories to share. I’m grateful you’re here, and I hope you’ll continue to follow along as the journey continues.

Here’s to the past 30 years…and to all the years ahead!

Day 28 | 30 Days of 30 Years

Hosting Thanksgiving in my home always reminds me why I love what I do, even after 30 years in design. Creating spaces that feel warm, lived-in, and full of meaning is truly my favorite part of this work.

This year’s table was a blend of the things I’ve collected and loved over the years—layered place settings, mixed textures, and a few sentimental pieces that only come out for the holidays. I pulled out vintage serving spoons, pretty glassware, heirloom linens, and a few quirky treasures that make me smile every time I use them.

Around the house, I added simple seasonal touches… pumpkins on the steps, a fall basket on the door, little vignettes tucked here and there. Nothing overly fussy—just thoughtful, welcoming details that feel like home.

After three decades of creating beautiful spaces for clients, it still brings me so much joy to create beauty under my own roof too. Thanksgiving is the perfect reminder that design isn’t just about how a room looks—it’s about how it feels when the people you love gather there.

Day 27 | 30 Days of 30 Years

Last night, as I stood at the ironing board smoothing out my mama’s hand-crocheted white napkins, I felt that familiar ache of missing her…and my daddy too. Those little napkins have been on every Thanksgiving table I can remember, carrying the scent and softness of a home that no longer exists except in my heart.

I’m making Mama’s dressing this year, and my daughter is making their mac and cheese - just like they used to. And my son will bring plenty of sweet iced tea, because my daddy always made sure we had more than enough…he loved it so much!

As the house starts to fill with those same old Thanksgiving smells, it takes me right back to their dining room…warm, crowded, full of laughter and the best food in the world.

There was nothing sweeter than gathering around their table, passing dishes made with love, and knowing you were home. I miss them deeply, especially on days like this, but I’m grateful that their traditions, their recipes, and their love keep finding their way to our table still.

Happy Thanksgiving. ❤️

We had a great time creating this fun snowman ⛄️ for the front door during the holidays. And of course it gave us the perfect opportunity to show our support for our Tigers! 🐅
