Great time today at the Finger Lakes Feather Club Poultry Show in Syracuse NY. So much fun visiting with other breeders, laughing and sharing stories....

I always come back with some shared knowledge from others that have paved the way. Always humbling!🥹❤️

Thank you to Laurie from Brookside Bantams in helping with this transaction and making this all happen for me. I am over the moon on being able to acquire the entire pen and carry on with them. I'm so grateful!! Cochins are my second love, honestly neck and neck with my silkies...

These Silver Penciled Cochin Bantams are absolutely amazing!!! Honestly, the best I have seen out there. I took home 5 pullets, 1 hen, 2 c**kerels and 1 c**k boy. The pictures don't capture the lacing on their feathers honestly.

I also want to thank Maylin from The Darn Silkie Barn for transporting them safely to the show. What an amazing young girl and on point I will tell ya! ❤️

I have one more group of gray pullets I will share on another post. I don't want to steal the thunder away from these beauty's...

Wanted to share these gorgeous whites I was able to purchase from Tony Davis at BBT Exotic Birds while at Tri-state last weekend...

2 young c**kerels and 2 beautiful pullets.❤️❤️
Tony was so kind to spend time with me going over each bird and what I was lacking in my line that will hopefully help.
I'm not looking for instant results or gratification. This hobby takes time. There is a point when you need to bring in another bloodline to help improve yours and move your program forward... 🙏🤞
Quarantine and getting some grass time in NY. Different climate then FL for sure...

Hard work really does pay off... I still have work to do, but I feel this year I am finally seeing show quality that I would feel comfortable presenting. These pullets are still young, 5 months..

Whites are a tough competition when showing. When you walk down those long aisles of endless gorgeous white birds you realize that you need to continue to work harder.

These pics are not posed picture perfect, not bathed and No AI... Just a few candid shots outside on the grass today.
