We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Skid Steer Operator to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy machinery, particularly skid steers, in various construction environments. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. The Skid Steer Operator will be responsible for performing tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and efficiency. As a Crew Member, you must have 5 years of experience working in a landscaping company. you will play a vital role in enhancing the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscape maintenance. Ideal candidates will have experience with hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and general landscaping tasks. . A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for this role.
Responsibilities
Operate skid steer loaders and other heavy equipment on construction sites.
Perform various tasks including digging, grading, and moving materials.
Grade for sod installation on new home builds
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Landscaping tasks including plantings, mulching, sod installation, tree trimming, hardscape installation
Experience
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with skid steers.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in prepping ground for sod installation
Familiarity with bulldozers, graders, and loaders is highly desirable.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment.
Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
