Fun fact: The average cyclist burns about 400–600 calories per hour… which means that post-ride slice of pizza or scoop of ice cream is basically fuel replenishment, right? 😄

In fact, bikes and food have always gone hand-in-hand—early cycling clubs in the 1800s often planned routes around bakeries and cafés so riders had tasty pit stops along the way.
