Tale as old as time... 🌹
Today I finished this Beauty & the Beast inspired rose at PACT Flooring, and I couldn't be happier with how she turned out. The best part? She's not done yet. Beth is adding a wooden base and top to transform her into a giant bell jar, and I can't wait to see the finished piece.
A huge thank you to Beth and the team for trusting me with this project. Beth has a knack for looking at an idea, deciding it's possible, and convincing everyone else too. 😆 She challenged me to try a style that's outside my usual comfort zone, and I'm glad she did.
If you're in the middle of a renovation project, their showroom is packed with the most beautiful tile and flooring I've seen, and they've got the hook up for about anything else a contractor or DIYer could need, for incredible prices. And, they have home decor, furniture, and a fun interactive wheres Waldo like wall with dauchshunds! Go check them out at 627 Main St Van Buren, Ar!

These started as me making weird little earrings for myself... and now I'm curious.

If I could turn almost anything into a handmade pair of earrings, what would you want to see?
The weirder, the better. 🦝✨

Also: 🎨 Do you prefer painted, quirky, cute, spooky, bookish, nature-inspired, or completely unhinged?

I might turn my favorite suggestion into a real pair and give them away... or maybe throw all the commenters into a hat and draw a winner. Haven't decided yet. 😅

This piece was inspired by a rose from my own garden and a reminder I seem to need often:

"Blooming isn't always easy. Sometimes it's simply choosing to grow anyway."

Life doesn't always give us perfect conditions. Sometimes growth looks less like flourishing and more like showing up, putting down roots, and continuing forward one day at a time.
