Sometimes more mulch isn’t the answer- we tend to spend time breaking down excessive mulch build up on new properties. When taking on new accounts, we often encourage customers to take a year off from mulching if the soil needs time to recover. We understand the visual appeal of mulch- however trapped moisture and poor soil quality can take out an entire landscape over time. These hydrangeas were drowning in piled on mulch resulting in sub par performance. Hoping to see some better results as the season goes on 🌹
