Tomatillo plants are not familiar to many if us in the Midwest. Did you know green salsa or salsa verde is made from tomatillos?
My friends tell me it is a simple mixture of pureed tomatillos, peppers, garlic, onion and cilantro!
It's delicious!! - Especially when I can control the amount of heat from the pepper for my mild Midwest palette.

These sprawling, big, beautiful plants definitely need to be staked to keep the branch branches off the ground and improve air circulation.

🍅 This Monster Tomato says, "Buy me, plant me, watch me grow!" 🍅
 The roots are going down, down, down as a result to bottom watering.
As much as possible, it’s best to bottom water while plants are in pots so the roots learn to grow down and deep.
