Remember to be an inform consumer when hiring Plumbers ...Electricians... And HVAC contractors . They are required to be Licensed by the state and insured as such and remember they are all insured for the type of work they do . Never feel funny to ask to see their license and for a certificate of liability or workmen's comp insurance . Home Improvement contractors are required to be registered which is different then licensed and also are required to carry insurance . Be safe, informed and confident .
